Smokey Eyes
The Smokey Eyes look has recently become an instant classic makeup look. The revealing secret here is that it dramatically transforms your face from an otherwise vanilla makeup application to a sultry and movie star-like look. The application is actually much easier than it looks and it's all about using great product and perfecting your blending technique. Once you learn how, your eyes will have a dramatic color with maximum impact.
1 - Let's get prepped!
First, let's start with clean, bare eyes. If you have oily skin or the type of skin that may not hold the look all day, we suggest starting with tre Bellezza Eye Primer.
2 - Apply shadow Shimmer Powders
Using Gillian Shimmer Powder (lightest) cover the entire eyelid as your base color and concentrate it under the brow for highlighting. Then, using the Eye Shadow Defining Brush, apply a few coats of Harrison Shimmer Powder (darkest) from the outer corner to the middle of your upper eye lids until your desired darkness is achieved. Continue with that same color depth across your lower lid just along the lash line to completely encircle your eyes with Harrison Shimmer Powder.
3 - Add some drama
Next, apply Ashton Shimmer Powder using a clean finger tip and blend a small amount right in the center of your upper eyelid to add a dramatic gradient from light to dark. Using Black Eyeliner, line your upper lids as close to the lash line as possible from the inner-most point right out to the ends where they meet your lower lash line. Then, carefully line the inside of your lower lid.
4 - Finish It Off
The last step is to go heavy on the Black Mascara. To complete this look, go very nude on the lips. Clear gloss or very neutral colors work great and keep the attention on your sexy, smoky eyes.
Tip: If any Shimmer Powder should fall onto your cheek bones during application, simply use your foundation brush to swipe it away. Always swipe in the direction away from your nose.
